Our Story
Rad Kidz Foundation was created from love, purpose, and the belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to grow, thrive, and feel supported.

Founded by educator and community advocate Lisa Wilson, Rad Kidz Foundation was born out of a deep desire to transform hardship into hope. After experiencing the loss of her son, Lisa recognized the urgent need for programs that help young people build resilience, develop confidence, and form meaningful connections before they reach a crisis point.

Today, Rad Kidz Foundation serves at-risk youth through trauma-informed, strength-based programs focused on life skills, mentorship, leadership, and access to positive opportunities.

We don’t just support youth — we equip them with the tools to navigate challenges, set goals, and build bright futures.

Our Mission
To empower at-risk youth through resilience-building programs, mentorship, and access to positive activities that foster confidence, connection, and lifelong success.
Our Vision
A future where every child feels valued, supported, and equipped with the skills and opportunities needed to thrive — regardless of their circumstances.

Our Approach
At Rad Kidz Foundation, we believe prevention begins with connection, empowerment, and access to opportunity.

Our programs are intentionally designed to:
-
Build emotional resilience and self-confidence
-
Teach leadership, goal-setting, and essential life skills
-
Remove financial and systemic barriers that limit access to positive youth experiences
-
Increase participation in sports, arts, enrichment, and mentorship opportunities
-
Strengthen relationships with caring mentors and peers
-
Create a strong sense of belonging and purpose
By ensuring that cost and circumstance are never obstacles to growth, we open doors for young people to explore their potential, develop healthy identities, and build brighter futures.
